Renewed Stockmann Itis offers omnichannel shopping opportunity – circular economy services also easily available

Stockmann Itis in Helsinki has been completely redesigned, both in terms of concept and premises. In its renewed department store, Stockmann offers a range of responsibly produced private label products, as well as a selection of other favourite brands – without forgetting quality cosmetics and the trusted products in the children's department. The functions of omnichannel shopping, circular economy and other services have been clearly brought together in one area.

The extensive renovation of Stockmann Itis has been completed and the new store will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, 2 September.

“At the heart of the inspiring Stockmann Itis assortment are responsibly produced fashion and home products under Stockmann's own brands. In addition, we provide our customers with an overview of the changing fashion range from other favourite brands. Our cosmetics selection remains wide and high-quality, and in the children's department we continue to offer a wide range of clothing and footwear for children of all ages," says Noora Pihlström, Department Store Director.

In the Stockmann Itis transformation, a lot of emphasis has been placed on omnichannel shopping. For the first time, Stockmann is bringing a showroom concept into the store environment, where the extended and seasonal selection is presented in an inspiring way and products can be easily ordered to be delivered directly home.

“We have listened to our customers and staff during the transformation of Stockmann Itis. In our more compact store, we want to offer not only Itis customers' favourite products but also the entire Stockmann range in a new, omnichannel way in the form of a showroom," says Noora Pihlström at Stockmann Itis.

In its renovated premises, Stockmann Itis has a completely new service area, featuring, for example, functions that support omnichannel shopping, such as the possibility of fitting online purchases, and a wide range of sorting and recycling services. A sewing service is also part of the service package and is available for products purchased from Stockmann and elsewhere. In the children's fashion area, there is a playground and rest areas for the whole family to enjoy, and the cosmetics department provides a wide range of beauty services.

The modifications in the shopping centre are still ongoing, but the renovation of Stockmann Itis is now complete.

“We will be having our grand opening on Saturday, 2 September. On behalf of the entire staff, I would like to warmly welcome all our existing and new customers to shop and explore the new Stockmann Itis,” says Pihlström.
