Riikka Mattila appointed Stockmann’s Chief People & Culture Officer

Riikka Mattila, M.Soc.Sc., has been appointed Stockmann’s Chief People & Culture Officer as of 14 April 2020. She will be a member of the Stockmann division’s Management Team and will report to CEO Jari Latvanen. Riikka Mattila has most recently served as HR Director at Scandic Hotels and before that has held several leadership positions in HR at Neste, Fortum and Pikoil.
Stockmann is currently undergoing an extensive transformation process, and people leadership has a significant role in ensuring a successful change journey and in strengthening a value-based culture. Riikka Mattila emphasises the importance of employee empowerment and inclusion in all activities.

Riikka Mattila will start at Stockmann after Easter at the latest. Mikko Huttunen, Stockmann’s Chief People Officer since 2016, took over leadership of Stockmann’s transformation process as of 17 January 2020.
