Carry the goods in a new recycled plastic bag

The goods purchased from Delicatessen can now be packed in a new recycled plastic bag. Over 90 % of the material used in the plastic bag is recycled. The bag is made in Finland and it’s recognizable from the grey color and information about recovered material printed on it. The new plastic bag supplements the selection of sustainable shopping bags at Stockmann. Stockmann has had own re-usable bags in department stores for several years. During Spring 2016 Stockmann launched a new re-usable bag in co-operation with Globe Hope. This stylish carrier is made from old sail-clothes. Fruits and vegetables can be packed in paper pouches or biodegradable bags which both can be sorted to biowaste. Also the traditional white plastic bag is made from material with 60 % recycled plastic.
