Lauri Veijalainen appointed Stockmann’s CFO

Lauri Veijalainen (born 1968), B.Sc., MBA, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Stockmann Group as from 12 August 2015. Lauri Veijalainen is currently Deputy Director for Stockmann’s Real Estate division and Development Director for the Group’s international operations. He will continue as a member of the Stockmann Management Team and he will report to CEO Per Thelin.

Lauri Veijalainen joined Stockmann in 2010. In his current position, he is responsible for Stockmann’s real estate business outside of Finland as well as finance, administration and governmental relations in Russia. He has previously held positions as CFO at Ikea Russia and CIS, and as CFO and Administrative Director at Skanska Moscow.

Lauri Veijalainen will succeed Pekka Vähähyyppä who will leave Stockmann in August 2015.
