Stockmann Group’s revenue in June 2013

The Stockmann Group’s revenue amounted to EUR 163.8 million in June 2013. Revenue, excluding the terminated franchising operations in Russia and Finland, was up 1.3 per cent.
The Department Store Division’s revenue, excluding the terminated franchising operations, was down 1.0 per cent. Revenue was down 3.3 per cent in Finland. Revenue under the Stockmann brand was almost on a par with the previous year, but Hobby Hall’s revenue was clearly down. Euro-denominated revenue in international operations was up 4.4 per cent despite the weakened Russian rouble. Growth was particularly strong in the Baltic department stores and the newest stores in Russia.
Fashion Chain Division’s revenue was up 4.2 per cent; down 10.7 per cent in Finland and up 8.4 per cent in international operations. Lindex’s euro-denominated revenue was up 8.6 per cent. Revenue in local currencies was up 9.0 per cent with growth in all countries except in Finland. Sales in Sweden improved strongly after several months of slow performance. Seppälä’s revenue was down 15.5 per cent. Revenue was somewhat affected by the closure of 15 stores during the past 12 months.
