STOCKMANN GROUP’S REVENUE IN APRIL 2011

The Stockmann Group’s revenue in April increased by 13.3 per cent and was EUR 195.4 million.
The Department Store Division’s revenue increased by 13.8 per cent. Revenue was up 2.9 per cent in Finland and 47.2 abroad where good development continued both in Russia and the Baltic countries. The Crazy Days campaign reached new sales records in all markets. The St Petersburg department store, where the campaign was held for the first time, contributed in particular to the growth. The new department store in Ekaterinburg operated for the first full month.
Lindex’s euro-denominated revenue increased by 16.7 per cent; up 9.2 per cent in Finland and 17.7 per cent abroad. The revenue growth was strong in all market areas due to improved market development and the successful launch of the Styled by Rachel Zoe collection.
Seppälä’s revenue was down 5.2 per cent. The decrease was 8.9 per cent in Finland but the sales improved towards the end of the month. In international operations revenue turned into growth and was up 1.6 per cent in total.
