STOCKMANN GROUP’S REVENUE IN APRIL 2010

In April, the Stockmann Group’s revenue (exclusive of VAT) exclusive of
Hobby Hall’s discontinued operations abroad amounted to EUR 172.2 million,
up 9.1 per cent.

Since the beginning of 2010, Hobby Hall has been a part of the Department
Store Division. The Department Store Division’s revenue includes Hobby
Hall’s figures and the comparison figures have been adjusted accordingly.
The Department Store Division’s revenue increased by 10.2 per cent.
Revenue increased by 9.6 per cent in Finland and by 12.2 per cent abroad.
Growth in Russia, where there was one department store more than in April
2009, was 20 per cent. Even the revenue of the department stores in the
Baltic countries exceeded slightly the revenue in the corresponding month
a year earlier, for the first time since August 2008. The very important
Crazy Days campaign beat the previous sales records in all markets and the
campaign revenue increased by 22 per cent.

Lindex’s revenue increased by 6.0 per cent. Revenue was on a par with
April 2009 in Finland while it increased by 6.8 per cent abroad. The cold
weather postponed spring collection sales somewhat during the latter half
of the month in all the divisions but especially in Lindex.

Seppälä’s revenue increased by 10.1 per cent. The increase was 7.6 per
cent in Finland and 15.0 per cent abroad. The growth was strong especially
in Russia, 28 per cent.
