STOCKMANN REFORMS THE ORGANIZATION OF THE DEPARTMENT STORE DIVISION AS FROM JANUARY 1, 2008
The director of Stockmann’s department stores in Finland, Karl Stockmann,
will retire on January 1, 2008. As from the same date, Stockmann has
decided to integrate the company’s department stores in Finland and the
Baltic countries under the same management and to make the department
stores in Russia a separate area of responsibility.
As director of the department stores in Finland and the Baltic countries
effective January 1, 2008, has been appointed Maisa Romanainen. Her
present position is the director of Stockmann’s international department
stores. As director of the Stockmann department stores in Russia effective
January 1, 2008, has been appointed Jouko Pitkänen. His present position
is commercial director for Stockmann’s operations in St Petersburg. Both
directors will report to Heikki Väänänen, Stockmann’s executive vice
president and director of the Department Store Division.
