TERHI OKKONEN APPOINTED AS SEPPÄLÄ’S MANAGING DIRECTOR

As the managing director of Stockmann’s subsidiary Seppälä Oy, Heikki
Väänänen, will take up his new position as director of Stockmann’s
Department Store Division and the Group’s vice executive president on 1
November 2005, Stockmann’s Board of Directors has appointed as Seppälä’s
managing director and member of the Group’s Management Committee effective
1 November 2005 Terhi Okkonen, eMBA, 43, the present sales director of the
Helsinki department store. Terhi Okkonen joined Stockmann’s in 1991 and
has previous to her present position worked e.g. as a buying manager in
the Department Store Division and as director of the Itäkeskus department
store.

As sales director of the Helsinki department store effective 1 November
2005 has been appointed the present director of the Tapiola department
store, Heini Pirttijärvi, M.Sc. (Econ.), 39. As new director of the
Tapiola department store effective 1 November 2005 has been appointed the
sales manager of the Delicatessen department of the Helsinki department
store, Tuija Wänttinen, B.Sc. (Econ.), 41.

Following the retirement of the purchasing director Leena Lassila, as new
purchasing director for fashion of the Department Store Division effective
1 January 2006 has been appointed Tiina Railio, eMBA, 43, at present a
buying manager in the Department Store Division.
