Stockmann Itis department store to close
Stockmann is closing its Itis department store. The last day of business will be Saturday 28 June 2025. The reason behind the decision to close the store is the expiry of the lease agreement with the shopping centre.
The Itis department store has been part of Stockmann's history since 1992. “We are proud to have served our customers in Itäkeskus for over 30 years. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all our customers – it has been a pleasure to meet you on both everyday and special occasions. A big thank you also goes to our close-knit Itis team, whose team spirit has been second to none,” says Janne Heiskanen, Stockmann Itis Department Store Director.
Stockmann will continue to operate in the Helsinki metropolitan area in the city center, Jumbo, and Tapiola, and will also serve its customers in the department stores in Tampere, Turku, Tallinn and Riga, as well as in the online store stockmann.com.
“Although the story of Stockmann Itis is now coming to an end, we warmly welcome our customers to our other department stores and online store,” says Heiskanen.
