Stockmann Group’s revenue in July 2013

The Stockmann Group’s preliminary revenue amounted to EUR 146.0 million in July 2013. Excluding the terminated franchising operations in Russia and Finland, revenue was on a par with the previous year.
The Department Store Division’s revenue, excluding the terminated franchising operations, was down 3.1 per cent. Revenue was down 1.6 per cent in Finland, where the Stockmann and Hobby Hall online stores however improved strongly. Euro-denominated revenue in international operations was down 5.8 per cent due to the weakened Russian rouble. Department stores’ revenue in rouble was on a par with the previous year in Russia.
The Fashion Chain Division’s revenue was up 3.7 per cent; down 3.9 per cent in Finland and up 5.9 per cent in international operations. Lindex’s euro-denominated revenue was up 7.5 per cent with strong growth in all countries. Revenue in local currencies was up 11.6 per cent. Seppälä’s revenue was down 11.8 per cent, partly due to several closed stores during the past 12 months.
