TUIJA PESONEN APPOINTED AS HOBBY HALL’S ACTING MANAGING DIRECTOR

Ms Tuija Pesonen, Hobby Hall’s administrative director, has been appointed
acting managing director of Hobby Hall, a Stockmann Group company, as from
March 26, 2008. Ms Raija Saari, Hobby Hall’s present managing director and
a member of the Stockmann Group’s Management Committee, has tendered her
resignation for personal reasons in order to take a sabbatical. During
Raija Saari’s nearly four-year tenure as Hobby Hall’s managing director,
the company’s earnings have swung from a loss to well into the black.

Stockmann is immediately starting the search for a new managing director,
with the aim of appointing the new managing director during the spring.
