STOCKMANN GROUP SALES IN FEBRUARY 2008

Stockmann Group’s sales continued very strong in February. Group’s sales
increased by 58 per cent to EUR 163 million. February had one extra
trading day in all markets compared to previous year. Main reasons for the
significant growth in sales are the consolidation of the sales by Lindex
into the Stockmann Group’s figures and strong sales development of
Departments Store Division, Seppälä and Lindex.

Sales of Department Store Division were up by 20 per cent. Sales were up
by 13 per cent in Finland and 43 per cent abroad, where sales continued
very strong in Russia, Estonia and Latvia.

Sales by Seppälä grew 17 per cent, 6 per cent in Finland and 48 per cent
abroad. Sales was very strong especially in Russia, where new units and
good comparable growth boosted sales.

Sales of Lindex developed well in all markets.

Sales by Hobby Hall decreased by 9 per cent, 8 per cent in Finland and 14
per cent abroad. The monthly comparison figures for January-March are
still affected by the new EPR system that was taken in use in April 2007
as a consequence of which the sales are recorded later than in the
previous year.
