PUBLISHING OF STOCKMANN’S INTERIM REPORT FOR JANUARY-JUNE 2010

Stockmann plc publishes the Interim Report for January-June 2010 on Thursday, 12
August 2010 at 8.00 a.m. Finnish time.

A press and analyst conference in Finnish will be held at 9.00 a.m. at the Fazer
restaurant F8 Easy on the 8th floor of Stockmann’s Helsinki city centre
department store. Entrance Aleksanterinkatu 52 B (on the right side of the
department store’s main entrance). At the conference CEO Hannu Penttilä will
present the Interim Report and the directors of the divisions the outlook for
the divisions.

Furthermore, CEO Hannu Penttilä will host a conference call in English on 12
August 2010 at 11 a.m. Finnish time presenting the Interim Report and the
outlook for the divisions. To participate the conference call, please dial +358
9 8864 8511 and, on request, enter the meeting room number *657899* including
the stars. The presentantion material will be available for downloading on the
company’s website on 12 August 2010 at 9.00 a.m. Finnish time at the address
