Stockmann’s Turku department store renovation completed - long-awaited new additions, especially for men

The renovation of the second floor of the Stockmann department store in Turku has just been completed, and the store will be celebrating its new look this coming weekend. Our Turku customers now have access to brands sold exclusively by Stockmann and a new area especially for fans of trendy sneakers. New products have been added to the selection based on feedback from local male customers. 

Stockmann’s Turku department store has undergone a major renovation over the past couple of years. The street level of the store was renovated about two years ago, and now the second floor has been given a uniform and modern look. The newly completed second floor houses men's fashion and women's lingerie and footwear. The renewed store will be celebrated together with customers this coming weekend.

Novelties available exclusively at Stockmann

Stockmann has gathered customer survey and feedback data on the wishes of Turku department store customers regarding the selection and services. When planning the renovation of the men's fashion floor, the views of male customers were particularly listened to. Among other things, Turku customers hoped for new, trendy brands and a more comfortable and brighter shopping environment. 

The renovation has brought new brands to the department store's selection, as well as a completely new trendy area dedicated to sneakers. This area can be found only in the Turku department store. Other footwear for women and men will also be available in the same area. An interesting new addition on the second floor is the men's jewelry from Skultuna and Le Gramme, exclusively available at Stockmann. In addition, the British classic brand Barbour, known especially for its outdoor jackets, has arrived at the Turku department store with a diverse selection.   
 
Like the first floor, the second floor has been renovated from floor to ceiling. The brightness has been increased with new energy-efficient lighting solutions, and the seating areas requested by customers create a cozy atmosphere. In addition, products have been rearranged so that it is easier for customers to explore the selection.  

In addition, the Home section on the third floor of the store is undergoing renovation. At the end of September, there will open an area featuring Vepsäläinen, a Finnish interior design and furniture store.
