STOCKMANN plc, Changes board/management/auditors 26.2.2020 at 14:00 EET
After the proposal of Stockmann plc’s shareholders’ Nomination Board to the Annual General Meeting on 27 January 2020, current member of the Board of Directors Eva Hamilton has informed that she, because of changed circumstances, will no longer be available to be re-elected as member of the company’s Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting. Eva Hamilton has accepted new positions of trust in Sweden, and has therefore decided to leave Stockmann’s Board of Directors.
As a result of this change, the Nomination Board proposes to the Annual General Meeting, which will convene on 18 March 2020, that the number of members of the Board of Directors to be six (6) and that the present members of the Board, Stefan Björkman, Esa Lager, Leena Niemistö, Lauri Ratia, Tracy Stone and Dag Wallgren, all having given their consents, be re-elected for the term of office continuing until the end of the next Annual General Meeting.
Otherwise the proposal of the Nomination Board remains in the form that were published on 27 January 2020. The proposal of Stockmann’s shareholders’ Nomination Board for the composition of the Board of Directors is available on the company’s website www.lindex-group.com.
The Chairman of Stockmann’s shareholders’ Nomination Board is Gunvor Kronman, (nominated by Föreningen Konstsamfundet r.f.) and the members are Ole Johansson (nominated by Society of Swedish Literature in Finland), Paul Hartwall (nominated by Hartwall Capital Oy Ab, representing HC Holding Oy Ab), Kari Niemistö and Stockmann’s Chairman of the Board Lauri Ratia.
