STOCKMANN GROUP’S REVENUE IN JANUARY 2010

In January, the Stockmann Group’s revenue (exclusive of VAT) exclusive of
Hobby Hall’s discontinued operations abroad amounted to EUR 125.1 million,
up 1.3 per cent. Seasonal sale campaigns were considerably smaller than in
the previous year, thanks to healthy stock levels in all business
divisions.

Since the beginning of 2010, Hobby Hall has been a part of the Department
Store Division. The Department Store Division’s revenue includes Hobby
Hall’s figures and the comparison figures have been changed respectively.
The Department Store Division’s revenue declined by 2.8 per cent. Revenue
in Finland was down 2.8 per cent. Revenue abroad declined by 2.9 per cent
due to the weak sales in the Baltic market. In Russia, the department
stores’ revenue increased by 9.0 per cent. There is one department store
more in Russia than in January 2009.

Lindex’s revenue increased by 11.5 per cent. Revenue increased by 4.6 per
cent in Finland and by 12.6 per cent abroad. Revenue increased in all
markets but Latvia.

Seppälä’s revenue was down 0.7 per cent. Revenue declined by 1.9 per cent
in Finland and was 1.6 per cent up abroad, thanks to the 13 per cent
growth in the Russian market. Sales in the Baltic countries continued to
be weakish.
