PUBLISHING OF STOCKMANN’S INTERIM REPORT FOR JANUARY-SEPTEMBER 2009

Stockmann plc publishes the Interim Report for January-September 2009 on
Friday, 23 October 2009 at 8.00 a.m. Finnish time (GMT +2h).

A press and analyst conference in Finnish will be held at 9.00 a.m. at the
World Trade Center, Aleksanterinkatu 17, Helsinki. At the conference CEO
Hannu Penttilä will present the Interim Report and the directors of the
divisions the outlook for the divisions.

Furthermore, CEO Hannu Penttilä will host a conference call in English on
23 October 2009 at 11 a.m. Finnish time (GMT +2h) presenting the Interim
Report and the outlook for the divisions. To participate the conference
