NOTIFICATION OF A CHANGE IN OWNERSHIP INTEREST UNDER CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10
OF THE FINNISH SECURITIES MARKET ACT

Under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Finnish Securities Market Act, Stockmann
has today been notified by Erkki Etola that the aggregate ownership
interest of companies controlled by Erkki Etola, i.e. Etra Trading Oy,
Etra Oy and Oy Maritim Ab, and Erkki Etola personally has, in connection
with the increase in share capital on June 27, 2008, decreased below 5 per
cent.
