STOCKMANN GROUP’S SALES IN DECEMBER AND IN 2002
The Stockmann Group’s December sales grew by 3 per cent and totalled EUR
168.1 million. The whole-year sales figure for 2002 amounts to EUR 1 582.3
million, up 3 per cent on the previous year. The Department Store
Division’s sales include the sales by the Zara store opened in April 2002
and the two Stockmann Beauty stores opened in the autumn. The Vehicle
Division’s Jan-Dec 2001 figure includes the sales of the Mitsubishi-Skoda
units that were sold or wound up. Seppälä’s sales figures for both Dec
2001 and Jan-Dec 2001 include the sales by the operations in Sweden that
were wound up.
Stockmann publishes the financial statement bulletin 2002 on February 12,
2003.
